50% of Chipotle Fundraiser Sales from the DFW Area on September 19 Will Benefit the SPCA of Texas

(DALLAS/MCKINNEY, TX); September 18, 2017 -- The SPCA of Texas and Chipotle Mexican Grill are partnering to support animal welfare in North Texas. Chipotle will be donating half of all Dallas-Fort Worth-area restaurant fundraiser sales on Tuesday, September 19 to the SPCA of Texas, the leading, local, 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization in North Texas. The fundraiser provides a way for supporters of the SPCA of Texas to raise money for the organization to support the mission of providing every animal exceptional care and a loving home.

“We take great pride in being the voice for animals who cannot speak for themselves,” said James Bias, President and CEO for the SPCA of Texas. “We’re excited to encourage DFW-area residents to help raise funds for the SPCA of Texas by grabbing lunch or dinner at Chipotle on September 19.”

There are three ways DFW residents can ensure 50 percent of their Chipotle purchase on Tuesday, September 19, benefits the SPCA of Texas:

  • Bring the fundraiser flyer in to the restaurant, and show it to the cashier.
  • Pull up a fundraiser flyer or social post using a phone, and show it to the cashier.
  • At checkout, tell the cashier you’re there to participate in the SPCA of Texas fundraiser.

Plus, meet your next four-legged best friend at Chipotle at 11613 N Central Expy Ste 100, Dallas, TX 75243. The SPCA of Texas' mobile adoption team will be onsite from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All pets are only $25 to adopt! Adoptions fees includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test for dogs six months and older and a FIV/FeLV test for cats 4 months and older, initial flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative, a microchip, 30 days of free PetHealth Insurance provided by PetPlan, a free 14-day wellness exam with VCA Animal Hospitals, a free year-long subscription to Activ4Pets, a rabies tag and a free leash.
