 ter for the Arts  on Wednesday\, June 1st at 12:30pm as he explains when a
 rt forgery becomes a crime\, traits of various art forgers and how the sci
 ence of art authentication has advanced over time. Clay will also discuss
  his recent visit through The Six Collection Amsterdam.   Although Clay's
  most recent novel\,  The Forger's Forgery  is historical fiction\, we lea
 rn facts about art forgery through reading this novel.  In summary\, we wa
 lk away from Clay's discussion with a better understanding on why art forg
 ery is still on the rise.  \n Clay G. Small \, a resident of University Pa
 rk\, is a professor at the Cox School of Business at SMU and a member of t
 he Law School Executive Committee. He is also a visiting professor at ESAD
 E Barcelona and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.  Clay received his JD from S
 outhern Methodist University (member of Law Review and Barristers) in Dall
 as and received his BA in English from Ohio Wesleyan University.  \nDuring
  his thirty-year career at PepsiCo\, Inc.\, Clay worked as Senior Vice Pre
 sident – Managing Attorney\, PepsiCo\, Inc.  In that position\, he was res
 ponsible for all legal matters arising out of PepsiCo’s global operating d
 ivisions. \nDiscussion including Q&A will be 45 minutes in length.  Event
