 . 14\, at Panther Island Pavilion. This family-friendly event brings toget
 her thousands of people of all ages and abilities to support those living
  with type 1 diabetes (T1D)\, raise awareness and help advance research to
 ward better treatments and a cure. \nThe morning begins at 8 a.m. with act
 ivities\, Resource Row and stage entertainment. The opening ceremony and T
 1D Champions Parade begin at 9 a.m.\, followed by the 3-mile walk at 9:30
  a.m. Light refreshments\, activities and family fun continue at 10 a.m. \
 nNew this year\, participants can take part in a Flag Ceremony\, add messa
 ges of hope and encouragement to the Community Wall\, explore the Pathway
  to Progress featuring milestones in T1D research\, and see Breakthrough M
 ile signs honoring local T1D champions. \nThe walk celebrates the strength
  of the T1D community\, including Youth Ambassador Marlee\, who was diagno
 sed at age 6 in 2022. Today\, she shares her story to raise awareness and
  inspire hope while staying active in softball\, basketball and flag footb
 all. Her sisters\, Malia and Mariah\, also support the cause as ambassador
 s. \nCome walk\, connect with the T1D community and help make a difference
