DIS recently held its annual talent show, welcoming a crowd of excited students, parents and faculty. The event was held at the Churchill campus gymnasium where over 100 attendees witnessed some of the finest talent the school has to offer. With dance, circus, drama, vocal and instrumental performances, students from the CP classes through to high school did not disappoint their audience. The program was packed with talent including musical recitals performed by young students who played from a range of genres from pop, rock to classical. The crowd was captivated by Dallas International School’s very own pep squad with a performance to “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa, followed by the school’s own vocal ensemble choir performing a number from The Greatest Showman. There was even a surprise guest performance by the Head of Primary school, Franck Philipp, who played “Bron-Yr-Aur” by Led Zeppelin. Students shined throughout the night with numbers from “The Lion King” and “Frozen”, pop songs by The Beatles, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce, and classical favorites from Bach and Beethoven.
