With only two weeks left until the Viva El Tango Gala, the DIS gala season has kicked into high gear. To keep the momentum going, we held our annual Gala Art Project Exhibit and PTO general meeting earlier this week. Held in the Churchill campus gymnasium, beautiful art projects created by students from each grade were on display as part of the exhibition for the DIS community. This year, student created art pieces themed around Argentina which is this year’s country of the year. Art pieces ranging from paintings, crafts to ceramics are now open for bidding until the Viva El Tango Gala event begins and where each item will be auctioned off. The event is to be held on March 28 at the Renaissance Dallas hotel.
