Less than eight months after the first Company Café opened on Lower Greenville, the locavore favorite is opening a second location adjacent to the Katy Trail on Routh Street.

The new location, called Company Café on the Trail, will focus on food with a healthy, organic twist and will to continue sourcing ingredients from local producers including The Cultured Cup, Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters, Homestead Heritage grass-fed beef, Double B Poultry and Wholesome Foods Bakery.

Menu items will include dishes from the Greenville location like the Deep Bowl, gluten-free chicken and waffles and gluten-Free cakes along with new new offerings such as Rock Shrimp Tacos and a variety of in-house smoked fish and meats. The restaurant will also feature  a large patio overlooking the Trail, a full bar, and gourmet coffee from one of only two La Marzocco Strada MP coffee makers in DFW.  Co-owner Stephen called it the"the Maserati of coffee makers," adding, "We’re excited about the quality coffee we can craft with this amazing machine."

The restaurants interior is adorned with reclaimed wood from old barns obtained from Homestead Heritage in Elm Mott, whose artisans also handcrafted each of the indoor and outdoor tables.

"Company Café was created with the goal of making local, natural fare accessible in Dallas,” White said. “That same ‘go local’ philosophy extends to matching the environment and menu to our new location on the Katy Trail.”
