The magic and excitement of Disney World provided the perfect backdrop for an energy filled performance by the Jesuit Rangerettes on Saturday February 17th. Their elegant and precision dance moves captivated the audience at the Waterside Stage at Disney Springs.  The Rangerettes were fortunate to have been chosen again by the Disney Fine Arts Program to perform this year.

The drill team, comprised of 41 students from Ursuline Academy and under the direction of Linda Coffin and Debra Roth, performed beautifully choreographed dances paired with vibrant music. The song-list included Shake The Room, Freedom, Treasure, and Last Dance. This unique opportunity gave the team an inside look at what it is like to be a professional in the entertainment industry.

Each year the Disney Performing Arts Program receives thousands of applications from vocal, instrumental and dance ensembles from around the world to perform at both the Disneyland Resort in California and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.  If chosen, they are invited to perform at the resort for an international audience of theme park guests.  Millions of performers have graced the stages of the Disney Parks in the more than 25-year history of the program. This year is the 2nd time the Rangerettes have been selected to perform.
