Jesuit Rangerette named to 2017 iD High School All-American Dance Team

One of our own, Courtney Lambert, has been named to this year’s members of the 2017 iD High School All-American Dance Team.  Selected from around the country 12 young ladies will represent Inside Dance magazine and CC Dancewear.  In addition to being all-around dance team members, these students are making impacts on their peers, communities and families, demonstrating the leadership it takes to go above and beyond, both on and off the sidelines, in the classroom and on the performance stage.

Currently Courtney Lambert is in the Junior Class of Ursuline Academy of Dallas, with a current semester GPA of 4.0 and is a Junior Lieutenant for the Jesuit Rangerettes.  Courtney performs at half time for the Jesuit Rangerettes and can be seen cheering on her team as they head into the playoffs for the 8th consecutive year.  Courtney started dancing at the age of two.  Her resume boosts an incredible list of academic and dance achievements.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and spends her free time volunteering and being active in school clubs and organizations, volunteering an hour before school every Monday at an elementary school. Courtney is on the Ursuline Library Advisory Board and also serves as Vice President of the Teen Dwell Club, an organization that helps decorate new homes in low income areas.

During Officer camp in June 2017, Courtney earned the prestigious awards of All American Dance Company and Miss High Kick.  At line camp she earned All American Dance Company, All American Dancer, All American Kick Company and Miss High Kick.  During the 2017 Spring competition season, Courtney won the Senior South Padre Island Regional Festival 1st Place Soloist.

Congratulations to all of the members of the High School All-American Dance Team!!!
