The Jesuit Rangerettes work year-round to perfect dance routines for Jesuit College Preparatory School football games, Jesuit and Ursuline basketball games and drill team competitions. While the Rangerettes dedication to their squad is clearly evident, another passion that is close to their hearts is Serviam - latin for "I will serve." On October 28, the Jesuit Rangerettes and the Jesuit Rugby team partnered together for the 3rd Annual Booktacular book donation drive and collected 152 books for Earning by Learning. Serving more than 100,000 children since its inception in 1996, Earning by Learning (EBL) is a nationwide literacy movement. Through its headquarters in Dallas and satellite centers in Richmond and Seattle, EBL provides reading incentives to children in grades K-6 in communities concerned with academic success of their young children.
