Not Just Bingo or Another Tie
Car Enthusiasts, Assisted Living Team Come Together to Ignite Nostalgia
for Father’s Day and Regain Community Connection post-COVID
Parsons House Preston Hollow invites the community to celebrate Father’s Day and help ignite nostalgia with their seniors and reconnect with neighbors post-COVID. All are welcome to attend a cookout and admire pristine cars and speak with car owners and reminisce with residents about their driving days, dream cars, and memories.
While Parsons House Preston Hollow residents have had indoor activities and events and gone on outings to the grocery store, Bachman Recreation Center and Park, and the Arboretum, led by the Activity Director, they would like to restore their sense of community since COVID.
The exhibition will include over twenty cars ranging from out-of-production classics, single models, and various car types from sedans to trucks. This is a free event, with food and beverages and face painting too.
To RSVP (extended) or for more details, register here: https://www.eventcreate.com/e/parsonshouse1, or contact Parsons House's Suzy Ruiz or Lynn Clark Bergman at 214-357-7900; lbergman@prestonhollowparsonshouse.com.
