Cambridge School of Dallas Freshman Featured in Major Movie Role

Cambridge School of Dallas freshman Conor Lyons is featured in a major role in the motion picture Leo. The movie was filmed in just five weeks in Nairobi, Kenya, in early 2011 and is a simple story that captures the essence of a child's heart — still open to all the possibilities of achieving his dream in Kenya.

The movie was filmed with a nearly all-Kenyan cast — Conor is one of only two Americans in the movie. It was released last year in East Africa, and now its young Kenyan director, Jinna Mutune, is hoping to get some traction in the U.S.

To view the official movie trailer, search "LEO THE MOVIE (Official Trailer)" on YouTube. A screening of Leo will be held on Thursday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Studio Movie Grill (75 and Royal Lane). Tickets must be reserved ($10.50 each) by this Sunday, March 9 via this link:
