The William Warren Group (WWG), a privately held, Santa Monica, Calif.,-based self storage development and operating company is announcing the purchase of four self storage facilities in Texas. The four properties (three in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and one in El Paso) will bring 206,806 SF and a total of 1,407 units to the company’s Texas portfolio.
WWG, which owns and operates StorQuest Self Storage, will rebrand the four properties as StorQuest, making them the first StorQuest Self Storage facilities in the Texas Market.
“Expanding the StorQuest Self Storage brand into Texas is another step toward achieving our ultimate goal of having a dominant storage platform,” said Bill Hobin, president and CEO of WWG. “We believe that there is a significant opportunity to improve the occupancy of the stores through our more focused and innovative management system, and robust digital marketing strategy.”

With the additional facilities added to the platform, The WWG now has 102 self storage locations in the company’s operating portfolio.
DFW Self Storage Denton: 10333 Denton Drive, Dallas TX
DFW Self Storage Denton is a two-story 49,265 RSF, 272-unit facility (256 self storage units, 6 office suites and 10 parking spaces).
DFW Self Storage Normandale: 9250 Normandale, Fort Worth TX
DFW Self Storage Normandale is a single-story 44,820 RSF (plus 1,800 square feet of RV storage), 392-unit facility in the Western Hills community of Fort Worth.
DFW Self Storage Shady Trail: 10317 Shady Trail, Dallas TX
DFW Self Storage Shady Trail is a 49,881 RSF, 334-unit facility located two-miles northwest of Dallas Love Field in north Dallas.
Trevino Self Storage: 10966 Montwood Drive, El Paso TX
Trevino Self Storage is a single-story 61,040 RSF, 378-unit facility with 31 RV parking spaces.
