Save the Date: October 30, 2016. Join the fun and food with 17 Amazing DFW Gourmet Food Trucks!

The 5th Annual Dallas Food Truck Palooza™ & Music Festival is one of the best Family Friendly Festivals in Dallas. From 11:00am-6:00pm families can enjoy great food from up to 17 North Texas premier food trucks, including Nammi, Easy Sliders, Gandolfo’s and more. This relaxing event has ample seating. Join your friends and sit under the shade at one of the many tables and enjoy music all day from local musicians.

While parents are eating and relaxing, kids will be enjoying the largest Kids Zones in North Texas. This year’s zone includes four large bounce structures, professional face painters, a photo booth wagon, balloon creations and other fun activities - ALL INCLUDED IN THE $5 ADMISSION PRICE!
Everything is always bigger and better in Texas. This year’s event has many new surprises.  Prior to the Dallas Food Truck Palooza™ & Music Festival, Tango Tab will be holding a Feed Dallas program making 1,000 sandwiches for The Bridge to pass out to those in need.

"This year's Dallas Food Truck Palooza, in partnership with NorthPark Presbyterian Church, will also feature a Reverse Food Truck onsite to fight hunger in our North Texas area,” exclaimed Debra Levy-Fritts. The Reverse Food Truck, a brand new outreach of NorthPark Presbyterian, seeks to reduce food insecurities in Dallas by collecting donations, both non-perishable and monetary, for our community partners. Attendees can donate food to support the Vickery Meadow Food Pantry, and the Jewish Family Services food pantry. “Donations of canned soups, pasta, peanut butter and tuna fish are especially welcome at this time of the year. Think of it as a food drive on wheels. 100% of your contribution goes toward reversing hunger in Dallas” said Debra.

Admission is only $5 and includes parking, all kids’ activities, and great music. (Kids 3 and under are free.)  Look for specials and packages on Groupon!
“Not only is this a great family day, the Food Truck Palooza is also a way for us to give back to the community,” explained co-chair Mark Fishkind. Temple Shalom has a strong belief in helping our DFW community. Over the years our fund-raising efforts have benefitted organizations such as Texas Health Resources, JFS, The Stewpot, NTFB, No Kid Hungry and Trinity Ministries.

A portion of this year’s  proceeds will benefit LIFT – Literacy Instruction for Texas™, an organization that enhances lives and strengthens communities by teaching adults to read and Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas, a 1st Responders Foundation that helps the families of our Police and Firefighters that have paid the ultimate price for our safety.

So, mark your calendars and make plans to attend The 5th Annual Dallas Food Truck Palooza™ & Music Festival at Temple Shalom. For more information go to http://www.dallasfoodtruckpalooza.com or visit our Facebook Page (Dallas Food Truck Palooza).
