The Lab at Lakewood is a good place for parents to take their kids and let them unleash their inner mad scientist. The Lab is a unique location that teaches children about science through projects, demonstrations and hands-on experiments. It's the perfect place for bright, inquisitive children to satisfy their curiosity.

For any parent that has yet to take their children to The Lab, there is an Open House being offered at The Lab on Sunday, January 15 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to come to this free event and say hello to the staff, cuddle with the resident pets and play in the slime bar. The Lab will also be giving away exciting toys such as spy pens and color-changing cups.

The Lab also offers great programs and the Open House will be the first time parents can sign their kids up for Spring Break Camp Program: Animals - LIVE! However, space for the program is limited to only 30 kids and enrollment is first-come, first-served. The camp will feature an outdoor classroom, daily snacks, playtime in the greenhouse and "The Great Worm Dig".
