The Jesuit Rangerettes Officers celebrate successes at the American Dance/Drill Team Officer Camp. Our Dance & Social Officers both brought home All American Officers – the highest award at the competition. This award is given based on outstanding discipline, personal enthusiasm, and performance throughout the week.

In addition, our Dance Officers were awarded the Diamond Award as all their judged routines scored above 90.  They also earned Best Overall Technique, Creative Choreography Award, and Home Routine Award.  On Day 1 they were voted All American Team of the day voted by the instructors, and on Day 2 they were voted Most Admired Team of the day voted by the other teams.

Our Social officers were awarded the Award of Excellence and on Day 2 were voted All American Team of the day by the staff.

Individually, we did equally as well with Allyson P & Courtney L earning the most prestigious award of Dance Company.  Instructors will award an elite number of students a Gold American Dance Company ribbon and acrylic award for exceptionally talented dancers displaying outstanding technique.  Courtney L earned Miss High Kick and became a finalist for the National Competition.  Outstanding Performer Award was given to Allyson P, Jillian C, & Christina D for their exceptional talent, effort, and leadership.

Top young women will be nominated for the All American Dance/Drill Team and All American Honorable Mention.  Auditions for these honor groups will be held on the final day of camp.  Any girl that has received a red ribbon by audition time is eligible to try out with the Camp Dance, which will be taught the first day of camp.  Recipients will be announced on the final day of camp at the Awards Ceremony and will receive a ribbon for their recognition.  This year’s award winners are, Alex T; Natalya H; Jillian C & Ashton A receiving All American-Honorable Mention and Allyson P; Courtney L and Maggie S receiving All American.  In addition, these young ladies have earned the opportunity to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.

Next on the schedule for the Jesuit Rangerettes is line camp. All our young ladies will attend as we learn and perfect our performances for Football season and beyond. Please keep up with us through Social Media and our website www.jesuitrangerettes.org
