For the first time ever, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will host a Holiday Bazaar, featuring unique and local treasures for garden guests to purchase just in time for the holiday season. On December 5 and 6, visitors are invited to stroll through the most enchanting holiday experience, The 12 Days of Christmas outdoor exhibit and The Artistry of the Nativity in the historic DeGolyer House, while also checking off their gift lists at the Holiday Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admittance to the Holiday Bazaar is included with paid garden admission.

The Holiday Bazaar will feature local artists, artisans, crafters and others who create unique gift items and will be stationed in Crepe Mytrle Allèe, a picturesque spot at the Dallas Arboretum. Items like handmade soaps, jewelry, artwork, accessories and many unique treasures will be found at the Holiday Bazaar along with holiday music, food and entertainment.

Dallas Arboretum’s director of public events, Julia Van Fleet, said, “The Holiday Bazaar will feature items for those hard-to-shop-for people that everyone has on their lists each year. With pieces like quilts, vintage jewelry, home décor and many specialty items, there is sure to be something for all ages.”

Holiday at the Arboretum begins November 8 and runs through January 3 featuring the spectacular The 12 Days of Christmas outdoor exhibit showcasing a dozen 25-foot-tall, Victorian style gazebos representing the beloved Christmas carol, dispersed throughout the 66-acre garden. In the historic DeGolyer House lavishly decorated for the holidays, The Artistry of the Nativity exhibit opens November 27 and runs through January 3, displaying 300 crèches from around the world.
