A mosquito pool was confirmed positive for West Nile Virus near the 7100 block of Valley View Lane in the 75240 zip code. Weather permitting; the area delineated below is scheduled for mosquito control spraying between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. July 17 and Friday July 18.  

The area to be sprayed is generally bounded by Elmridge Drive on the north, Ridgeview Circle on the west, Flagstone Lane on the east and Helsem Way on the south.

Mosquito control spraying will not occur during rain or if the wind speed is 10 miles-per-hour or greater. If these conditions exist, spraying will be delayed until the next available night.
