BioLabs at Pegasus Park, a 37,000 square foot flexible life science co-working facility, announces facilities renovation is on schedule and they anticipate a mid-December opening. Strategically located in the heart of the rapidly expanding Innovation District between the Dallas Design Center and the Southwestern Medical District, the Biotech+ Hub at Pegasus Park positions Dallas as the next major hub for biotech and healthcare innovation.

BioLabs is based in Cambridge, MA, and is a membership-based network of shared laboratory facilities. Offering shared and private laboratory, training and office spaces for early stage scientific ventures, the space will enable biotech innovators to pursue scientific breakthroughs. BioLabs at Pegasus Park can accommodate 35 startups and represents the company’s first location in the central United States. The facility will be equipped with a broad array of premium scientific equipment and will offer additional services and amenities for resident companies.

Heralded for their partnerships with leading biotech, pharmaceutical and analytical instrumentation companies, BioLabs secured a significant amount of equipment for their existing interim space from generous sponsors: DeNovix, Eppendorf, PHCbi, Promega, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. The 80+ units of equipment include freezers, thermocyclers, centrifuges, qPCR, plate readers, cell counters, spectrophotometers, pipettes and more.

“We are thankful for all the support to secure the equipment and services needed for the companies and entrepreneurs within our new facilities at Pegasus Park in Dallas,” said Adam Milne, Chief Operations Officer of BioLabs. “Our flexible and state-of-the-art lab space will offer startups access and opportunity to connect with capital, partnerships and technical assistance to accelerate the pace of their work. We look forward to collaborating with the region’s life science and health innovators to help further the advancement in science in North Texas.”

The 23-acre, mixed-use Pegasus Park office campus is designed to bolster local biotech, social impact and corporate innovation. The Biotech+ Hub at Pegasus Park offers local entrepreneurs, scientists and researchers a site in North Texas to develop new ventures within the biotech space. BioLabs is the key operator of the biotech laboratory and co-working facility within the Biotech+ Hub.
