The holidays just got a little easier. Big Al’s BBQ is now taking orders for traditional smoked meats.  Whole Turkeys (hickory smoked or Cajun fried), spiral smoked Hams, whole smoked Briskets, and hickory smoked Pork Loins are available to take home for the holidays. 

In addition to the whole meat offerings, holiday take-home bundles include:

• Family Feast for $155 with a whole Smoked Turkey, Smashed Potatoes, seasoned Green Beans, Cornbread Dressing, Turkey Gravy, Cranberry Sauce and 12 freshly baked Dinner Rolls.  For an additional $10 substitute the Smoked Turkey for a Cajun Fried Turkey, Spiral Ham or Pork Loin instead. (Feeds 8-10)
• Holiday Dinner for $99 with sliced Smoked Turkey and Ham, Smashed Potatoes, seasoned Green Beans, Cornbread Dressing, Turkey Gravy, Cranberry Sauce and 6 freshly baked Dinner Rolls. (Feeds 4-6)
• Side Feast for $99 with Smashed Potatoes, seasoned Green Beans, Cornbread Dressing, Turkey Gravy, Cranberry Sauce and 12 freshly baked Dinner Rolls.

Don’t forget to add Big Al’s made-from-scratch Cobbler, Banana Pudding or Bread Pudding that serves 18-20 people for $40 each.

For office celebrations, Big Al’s is offering a Holiday Feast Catered Lunch for $15.50 per person, with a minimum of 15 people.  This lunch includes smoked Turkey Breast and Ham, Smashed Potatoes, seasoned Green Beans, Cornbread Dressing, Turkey Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, and freshly baked Dinner Rolls.  Please allow 2 days’ notice for catering orders.

“We are now officially shifting into FEAST MODE to provide the delicious food for the holidays that we are known for. We smoke over 500 turkeys each year for our longtime guests, plus 200 more for our charitable partners to provide to those in need. Turkeys are hard to come by, so order early this year,” says owner Lauran Weiner.

Big Al’s Smokehouse offers their holiday menu take-home offerings through both Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Orders are easy to make online or by calling the restaurant.  Pick up times vary, and all orders must be picked up before 2:00 on the eve of each holiday.  Big Al’s is closed both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.  These take-home offerings are subject to availability and while supplies last.
