The Bar Method® Owner/Master Instructor Melissa Moore is bringing the premier barre-based workout, known for its targeted and effective body sculpting exercises, to the Preston Hollow/North Dallas community. Located at 11661 Preston Road (at Forest), Suite 128, Dallas, TX 75230, the new 1806 square foot studio is the 154th Bar Method studio nationwide. Interested participants are invited to visit The Bar Method Preston Hollow’s website to at to sign up for a complimentary class ($25 value) in June to experience The Bar Method, and the studio is currently offering a Grand Opening Special – Pay $99 in June and then $169/month for the first year. Throughout the month of June, Moore is hosting a series of pop-up partnerships to highlight other female owned businesses based in Dallas (see schedule below).
The Bar Method is the pioneer in the growing barre-based exercise programs with safe, fun, hour-long workouts that use isometric exercises to strengthen and tone all major muscle groups, followed by periods of stretching to elongate, lengthen and align the body. By incorporating elements of Pilates, yoga, and other strength training workouts, this barre workout will sculpt your entire body, improve your flexibility, and boost your endurance in a way that only barre can. The Bar Method Preston Hollow is the first studio owned and operated by Moore.
Bar Method® Owner/Master Instructor Melissa Moore is no stranger to the Dallas community, having been actively involved with many nonprofits over the last twenty years including the Elisa Project, SPCA, and the North Texas Suicide and Crisis Center. “I have over a decade of experience with The Bar Method, both as a client and as an instructor. After the birth of my second child, I turned to exercise to get back to my former self. After trying many different types of workouts, I found The Bar Method, which provides an intense workout with no impact on the joints, and it adds stretch to increase flexibility and mobility. I’ve worked out my whole life, but this method was a game changer for me,” said Moore. “I am excited to shake with everyone in class and to build a supportive Bar Method community in Preston Hollow that helps women and men feel strong, connected, and empowered.”

FRIDAY, JUNE 11TH: Morgan Sapp, National Coach for The Bar Method. Sapp was an integral part of the Teachers Certification process for The Bar Method and will teach classes in studio on Friday June 11th. Participate in a Method class at 9:30am and Bar Basics at 10:45am. This is a perfect time to try class if you've never experienced one or learn how to perfect your form.
SATURDAY, JUNE 12TH: Lauren Rowold, Founder and Owner of LNR Bar will be in studio sampling and selling her Dallas-based whey protein bars (also available at Whole Foods). They're not only delicious, but they contain healthy ingredients you want for your body.
SATURDAY, JUNE 19TH: Susan Posnick, Celebrity Makeup Artist and Owner of Susan Posnick Cosmetics, will be doing summer color consults and touch-ups at our beautiful vanity bar. You can leave Bar feeling and looking great. She's also offering a complimentary makeup bag with $50 purchase from her Dallas-based line which she can have delivered to your homes the following week.
SUNDAY, JUNE 20: DON'T FORGET DAD! Dads are invited to attend to a free class on Sunday, June 20th at 12pm. Call the studio to reserve a spot for the special man in your life, then bring in your Dad, Husband, Boyfriend, Brother, etc in to enjoy a class together. . .
SATURDAY, JUNE 26: Jenn Hill, Creator and Owner of Dallas-based Zenn Jenn, will be in studio 10am-12pm showcasing her line of candles, oils, and beauty products. Not only does Jenn have family in our Preston Hollow Community, she also used to be a ballerina. Jenn now promotes her self-care brand defined by ritual, health, and wellness.
