The Temple Shalom Brotherhood Softball League is well positioned to deliver on another 44 years of competition and fraternal goodwill. Now over 200 players strong, the Shalom League continues as one of the Metroplex’s preeminent recreational sports leagues.

The Shalom League celebrated 44 years of Sunday morning softball at its annual breakfast on December 9^th at Temple Shalom. Dale Hansen, of Channel 8 Sports, brought his wit, wisdom, and humor to add a lot of flavor to the event. Sporting his flair for the dramatic and an innate ability to “spin a yarn”,  Dale brought the audience to its feet.

The League, the brainchild of Brotherhood Life Member Bob Weinfeld over four decades ago, is sponsored by Temple Shalom Brotherhood, which last year celebrated its 50^th Anniversary.
