Providence Girls Basketball.

Providence Christian School’s three basketball teams played in the TAPS league tournament championship games on February 11 and 12 to packed gyms, with two of the three teams winning division championships.

The Providence girls Division One basketball team played Parish and won on February 11. Congratulations to the following (pictured left to right): Sara Lipe, Adelaide Brooks, Sophie Schott, Anne Marie Sitton, Mary Cash, Catherine Merrick, Sydney Hurley, Margaret Petty, Kat Petersen, and Beatrice Crosby. A special thanks to Coaches Nick Merrick and Kendall Hines.

On February 12, the Class Seven boys won the Division Two championship with a win over Inspired Vision. Although Inspired Vision had previously beaten the Patriots in the regular season (their only loss), the boys played and won. Congratulations to the following (pictured left to right): William Nowlin, Hamptom Simms, Matthew Jordan, Hudson Neuhoff, Brannon Farrow, Sam Clare, Jack Brown, Hill Washburne, David Uhrbrock, Cole Johnson, Joshua Limsenben, Jake Bryans. A special thanks to Coach Brian Boubel.

The boys Division One (Class Eight) basketball team was defeated by St. Johns in the championship game on February 12. The boys had a great season, entering the tournament as the number five seed. In game one, they defeated the number four seed, Shelton, and then defeated the number one seed, Good Shepherd, to make it to the championship game.
