Temple Shalom hosted a wonderful weekend with young children's entertainer, Miss Emily. On Friday, June 20, Temple Members, young families and friends joined together for a special musical Shabbat.  On Saturday morning, June 21, young families celebrated a wonderful Munchkin Minyan at the North Satellite with joyous singing, dancing and praying. Saturday’s event was filled with families from Plano, Frisco, Allen, Richardson and Dallas. Miss Emily sang original songs, combined with Temple Shalom favorites and traditional prayers.

Of course, both events included delicious food. PJ library coordinator, Heather Rey, brought the newest collection of children's books and informed young families about the wonderful PJ Library program. The weekend was the perfect time to relax, rejoice and connect with new friends and families.
