In Lakehill's Lower School, it doesn't get much better than Field Day. With excitement high and a glorious sunny day, Lower School parents came out in force to put on a field day to be remembered.
Dressed in class shirts proudly displaying their team names, students started the event with their class cheers. The afternoon was full of fun and games, including everything from water balloon launching to an obstacle course to a Dunk Tank with Head of Lower School, Mr. Trout. Most of all, the children enjoyed being outside in the warm weather and having fun with their friends.
Students finished the day with icy treats, served with style from a Paleta cart. Thanks to organizers Tricia Neerman and Stacie Smith and their team of parent volunteers who manned the events, everything ran smoothly and was great fun.

Lakehill Preparatory School's Opening Doors campus improvement project renovated 8,000 square feet of existing space and added 16,000 square feet of new space to the original building. This vital effort produced new lab spaces for science, writing, and computer science, an art studio, new classrooms, administrative offices, meeting and event rooms, and a dramatic 5,000 square foot inner courtyard with outdoor classroom and performance space.
