Judy Pollock Named Director of Development for 4word Women

Judy Pollock has been named Director of Development for 4word Women, a national non-profit organization based in Dallas serving professional Christian women by narrowing the gap in resources facing every woman serious about her career, relationships, and faith.

“Judy brings a twenty-five year career as a development professional to 4word Women,” said 4word Founder and President Diane Paddison. “4word Women has huge aspirations to bring our mentor program, local groups, and digital community to women in the workplace globally so that we can help them reach their God-given potential with confidence so that they can share Christ’s love. Judy’s ability to bring large individual gifts and foundation grants to 4word Women will take 4word to the next level. We are honored to have her join our team.”

Ms. Pollock is a native of San Francisco and a graduate of the University of Illinois where she earned both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Education and an M. Ed. in Counseling Psychology. She served as President of Rebmar, Inc., a subsidiary of Pier One, Inc. and as President and Owner of Magnum Designs, building it into a multi-million-dollar company with more than 100 employees.

After a successful career as a corporate executive and entrepreneur, Ms. Pollock has been responsible for helping to raise more than $35M for nonprofit organizations. Included are the Graduate Institute of Linguistics, Redeemer Seminary, Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Getty Trust, Americans for the Arts, Jonathan’s Place, the Hope Center Foundation, Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation and The Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture.  

Ms. Pollock served as Chair of the Cultural Affairs Commission for the City of Dallas and as a member of The Dallas Soars! Task Force, Dallas Urban Design Advisory Committee, Texas Small Business Advisory Council, Dallas Area Cultural Advocacy Coalition, Texans for the Arts, and the Governor’s Small Business Advisory Council for the State of Texas. As a volunteer, she served in a variety of roles from that of President to co-founder of organizations and support groups that include the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center and the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League.
