Park Place Lexus Plano recently hosted its second blood drive of the year collecting blood from 18 donors and potentially saving over 40 lives. 

With 38 percent of the population eligible to give blood, less than four percent actually donate. This leaves the community blood supply constantly struggling to keep up demand for patients battling cancer, emergency surgeries, and unexpected disasters. Blood donors are the only way to provide for transfusions because blood cannot be manufactured. Park Place Lexus Plano will host a third blood drive in December to support Carter BloodCare and its needs.
