Prescott Realty Group is expanding its team with the addition of a new managing director, Scott Jackson. Jackson brings 13 years of experience to his position with the firm and is eager to be a part of one of Dallas’ most active real estate groups.

Jackson will be responsible for leading the firm’s multi-family development program along with team members Dave Dierkes and Brenna Ellis.

“We are proud to have Scott join Prescott’s growing team. He is a proven leader with extensive real estate experience and a unique understanding of the current market,” said Prescott CEO Jud Pankey.

“As Prescott continues to expand, the need for individuals who possess strategic leadership skills has become paramount,” said Prescott’s President, Vance Detwiler.

Pankey continued, “Vance and I are excited to work alongside Scott as he helps establish and advance Prescott’s current projects and other future endeavors in both student and transit-oriented developments.”

Before venturing into real estate, Jackson gained experience in the financial world as an originator for JP Morgan Mortgage Capital. In 1999, he joined Fairfield Residential, and quickly gained expansive knowledge of the industry managing projects in 20 different states, totaling approximately 5,400 units. He also supervised asset management for the entire central region.

A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Jackson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and real estate finance, and a minor in economics. As a licensed Texas real estate broker, he is actively involved in several industry groups, including the Southern Methodist Real Estate Society, Urban Land Institute and The Real Estate Council.
