Each year, Graphis, an international beacon of excellence in design and visual imagery, publishes a book to showcase the work of exceptional talent in Design, Advertising, Photography and Art/Illustration. And this year the Dallas-based B2B firm Spire Agency won Gold, Silver and Honorable Mention for various works in the design category.
Spire won Gold for a custom-designed box that was created for an Airbus Helicopters campaign which ran during the 2018 Dallas Cowboys football season. The promotional box was delivered to each suite on game day. The goal of the campaign was to encourage recipients to enter to win a free helicopter ride to Cowboys stadium on game day. Respondents who entered the promotion were identified as interested in helicopter travel, helping the sales team narrow in on potential leads.
The agency also won honorable mention for another Airbus Helicopter box that was specifically targeted towards NFL owners of visiting teams. This particular target audience was the one percent of the one percent and nearly unreachable. With next to no expectations for responses, the campaign garnered a 50% response rate, with four of the eight NFL owners replying to the inquiry.
Spire’s silver medal was awarded for a third Airbus Helicopter promotional box and they also won honorable mention for two custom-designed client logos one of which was for Dynata, the world’s second-largest first-party data company.
Kimberly Tyner, Partner at Spire Agency, said: “Graphis is one of the top design awards, and we are honored to have our work featured in the 2019 issue. As a B2B agency, one of our goals is to drive awareness and help speed up some of the long sales cycles in the industry. These particular award-winning projects were an unqualified success, garnering over a 50% response rate. We look forward to continuing to create beautiful, yet meaningful work for our clients.”
