DSO young professionals enjoy romantic concert

Vivaldi Patron Circle, a young professionals group of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, hosted a reception and concert at the Meyerson on March 12. Cocktails and hors d’ouvres were served before the group was seated for a romantic evening of Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet. The event was co-chaired by Alex Burton and Christina Geyer.

Making introductions at the pre-concert reception were DSO President and CEO Jonathan Martin and Michelle Miller Burns, the new Vice President of Development for the Symphony.

The VPC has launched a special year of rebranding the group whose members are individuals in their 20s, 30s, 40s who express an interest in the arts and wish to be part of the next audience for the Dallas Symphony. A yearlong membership offers a series of special events at the Meyerson and offsite in public and private venues. Exclusive ticket offers to a variety of concerts. Young professionals are invited to join the Vivaldi Patron Circle by contacting Maliska Haba at m.haba@dalsym.com or 214.871.4005.

The next upcoming event will be on Sunday, May 3 with a Behind the Scenes Tour of the Meyerson and a performance of Ann Hampton Callaway Sings Streisand.
