Oso Food and Wine opened last month in Preston Forest Shopping Center in the space formerly occupied by Prego Italian Express.  Two experienced restaurateurs are operating this neighborhood Mediterranean Bistro.  Michael Cox who was previously CEO of M Crowd (Mi Cocina, The Mercury and Taco Diner) is the managing partner.  Chef Kelly Hightower with experience at The Mansion, Tei Tei Rogata Bar, Ziziki’s, Kavala and Wild Salsa is creating some of the finest Mediterranean dishes in the metroplex. 

Stop by to dine and taste appetizers such as Lamb Kofte and Crispy Chicken Liver Fra Diavlo.  Entrees include Pork Chop Milanese (the biggest pork chop I've ever seen!), Grilled Big Eye Tuna and the Slow Roasted Lamb Shank.  The menu has something for everyone! 

As the name indicates they have some vintage wines to pair with any entree or appetizer.  There’s also a full bar serving craft cocktails.  With only a month “in the lights” this eating establishment is already receiving high marks!  Click this link to see Chef Kelly discuss the cuisine.
