On Jan. 31, Trinity Christian Academy’s (TCA) varsity boys swim team won the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) North Regional Swimming Championship. The team finished with 132 points, 20 points more than second-place finisher Prestonwood Christian Academy. Junior Jeremiah Kim, who competed in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke, and sophomore Brett Fair, who swam the 100 breaststroke, both contributed to the Trojans’ success by finishing first in their respective races. Seven members of the boys team, including Kim and Fair, will be moving on to compete at the TAPPS state championship meet on Feb. 14 and 15 in San Antonio, Texas.

Additionally, the girls swim team set two school records and will also be sending four team members to compete at the state championship meet in San Antonio.
