The dentistry practice passionate about supporting the community invites everyone to celebrate this holiday with a delicious slice of cake from a local African-American-owned business. MINT dentistry is putting smiles on faces yet again, as the company invites the community to celebrate Juneteenth with delicious treats from Cake Bar. On Friday, June 19, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., everyone is invited to join the party on a day that celebrates the news of emancipation. Guests will enjoy a complimentary slice of Cake Bar cake provided by MINT dentistry. Complimentary water and sunglasses will be provided by MINT dentistry employees and everyone will enjoy live entertainment from DJ Slim.
Cake Bar is a bakery and retail shop in Dallas’s Trinity Groves where guests can enjoy a large selection of traditional, southern-style, made-from-scratch cakes and confections. Entrepreneur Tracy German is famous for her large selection of scratch cakes in 16 flavors (Strawberry, Red Velvet, Carrot, Chocolate, Coconut, German Chocolate, Hummingbird, Italian Cream, Key Lime, Neapolitan, Old Fashion Chocolate, Pina Colada, Wedding Cake and Pineapple Upside Down!).
“We are pleased to honor this day and celebrate Juneteenth,” Dr. Field Harrison, founder of MINT dentistry, said. “We believe strongly in standing with the Black community and with businesses like this one owned by our friend Tracy German. We are also very excited about sharing in some delicious cake!”
Guests at the event may receive one complimentary slice per person, and it’s first-come, first-served, so bring a friend! Guests are also asked to observe social distancing while waiting in line.
