Soulman’s Bar-B-Que, North Texas’ favorite family-owned barbecue institution since 1974, is celebrating the official Grand Opening of its newest location in North Richland Hills with a community-wide event on Friday, January 24 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at 6000 Rufe Snow Drive, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.
The celebration will bring family fun, local flavor, and Texas-sized barbecue pride to one of the fastest-growing cities in the region. Guests are invited to enjoy prizes, swag, exclusive food discounts, kids’ activities including balloon art, and a live broadcast featuring 99.5 The Wolf’s Jason Pullman. A fan-favorite Rib Eating Contest will kick off at 1:00 p.m., giving North Richland Hills residents a chance to claim barbecue bragging rights.

The new North Richland Hills location expands Soulman’s footprint in DFW, offering slow-smoked favorites like fall-off-the-bone ribs and tender sliced brisket, homemade sides, and classic banana pudding—all served with the hospitality that has kept Texans coming back for generations.
