The Dallas-Fort Worth real estate market moves fast and is cluttered with confusing messages and lots of noise. For potential home buyers, it's hard to know who to believe or where to start. In January, Karen Cuskey-Hartman, Tobin Hartman and Maggie Terilli formed Hartman Terilli Realty Group at Coldwell Banker to help homebuyers break through the clutter. Tobin remodels houses and Maggie and Karen sell his renovations, in addition to homes across the DFW Metroplex. Together they provide customers with service that is led by their hearts and paired with in-depth market knowledge and resources.

In 2015, Karen was awarded a Taylor’s Gift Outlive Yourself Award for her ability to connect the dots – whether it’s people, places or things – to help make the world better than she found it. Today, everyone who walks through the door of a Hartman Terrilli renovation will be immediately greeted with the most prominent feature of the home – a door painted in Taylor Blue – to bring awareness to Taylor’s Gift Foundation, a national nonprofit dedicated to the lifesaving effort of increasing organ donor registrations and financially assisting families touched by organ donation. In the home, homebuyers will find a brochure with the story behind the door. With every home sold, Hartman Terilli makes a $500 donation to Taylor’s Gift Foundation.

“I think it's important to illustrate in real life how easy it is to make a difference. It was an easy decision to paint the doors of our remodels Taylor Blue,” Karen says. “By painting the door Taylor Blue, we touched tons of people with the message, sold a house and raised money for the cause, all by simply connecting the dots.”
