Local Nonprofit to Receive Proceeds from Santa’s Presidential 2016 Campaign

Santa Claus came to town a little bit early this year, but he’s not here delivering presents: he’s here to run for President of the United States (POTUS) under the Christmas Party. With campaign support from Dallas branding firm Spire Agency, Santa will be working with a team of top political elves to provide the electorate with the best gift of all: a candidate they can believe in. As a part of his run for the Presidency, Santa announced his partnership with Heroes for Children, a unique nonprofit organization that provides financial and social assistance to families with a child battling cancer. The organization is the official beneficiary of all donations and proceeds from Santa for POTUS race.

“Santa is hero for so many children. He understands how important it is for families to feel like they are not alone as they battle a childhood cancer diagnosis,” says Larissa Linton, co-founder and executive director of Heroes for Children. “Through Santa’s partnership, we will be empowered to be a hero for many more families as they fight the good fight because no family with a child battling cancer should ever fight alone.”

Like any political campaign, Santa will accept donations and have campaign swag available for purchase – with all proceeds going to Heroes for Children, building up cheer for this year’s holiday season. Santa’s recent announcement of his race for Commander-in-Chief not only promises to make America jolly again, but will benefit children and their families who need some extra help as they face a cancer diagnosis.

Santa’s stances range far and wide, but his focus has always been on helping children. Saint Nick’s motto has always been, it’s better to give than receive. Whether children are writing a letter to him or he is delivering presents to them, Santa is always concerned with the happiness and well-being of our country’s children.

“America’s children are our future. I am pleased they will be the ones to carry on the merry smiles and jolly attitudes,” Claus said. “I am running for President to make America jolly again for this nation’s children. Ho! Ho! Ho!”
