The DFW Boat Expo saw record-breaking crowds during the first of two weekends at Market Hall with as double digit percentage rise in attendance.

“We continue to grow as one of the largest boat expos in the region. The show is appealing to the dealers who are seeing more and more qualified buyers.  Between financing options and changes in materials (like aluminum versus fiberglass) ownership of boating vessels more affordable than ever. From paddleboards to pontoons, guests are able to get up close and person to realizing a ‘life on the water.’ The unseasonably warm temperatures in the Metroplex are also helping get everyone on the floor ready for the upcoming boating season,” says Bron Beal, executive director of the DFW Boat Expo.

“Boat dealers are offering some of the best deals of the newest models as well as the remaining 2016 models,” says Beal. “Our shoppers and dreamers alike are having a great time exploring all of the ‘bells and whistles’ and fun recreational activities that have become part of the boating life.”

The DFW Boat Expo is the largest boating event in North Texas, showcasing more than 650 all new 2017 boat and watercraft models that are on display and available for purchase from more than 20 North Texas boat dealers. In addition to the display of boats big and small, nearly 150 different vendors have booths with great deals on boards, skis and tubes, and information on private lessons and camps.
