AccelSPINE Receives 2015 Spine Device Award

Becker’s Healthcare has named Dallas-based AccelSPINE® as one of its 2015 Spine Device Award winners. AccelSPINE is one of 25 companies who will be recognized this year from a nationwide pool of candidates. It will receive the award for its Picasso II product.

“The Picasso II is the next generation, minimally invasive spine system,” said AccelSPINE President & CEO Daniel Chon. “It features a double-lead thread and self-tapping, anodized screw. We’re very excited about the product and the Becker’s award. The publication is highly respected throughout our industry and we’re deeply honored by their recognition.”

 According to Becker’s, honorees were selected by a combination of nominations and editorial research on factors such as product innovation and impact on the “quality and economics of spine care today. 

Award winners will be recognized during a special ceremony on June 12 at Becker's 13th Annual Spine, Orthopedic & Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference + The Future of Spine. Winners also will be featured in an upcoming Becker’s Healthcare publication.
