Operation Kindness - the original and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas - is hosting a 12-Hour Adopt-a-thon and is extending its hours, offering $99 adoptions from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m on Saturday, June 27. In 2014, more than 56 animals found their forever homes at Operation Kindness’ Adopt-a-Thon. This year’s goal is to beat last year’s adoption record with more than 300 animals available for adoption.
All animals at Operation Kindness have been neutered/spayed (over eight weeks old) and are current on all vaccinations; treated for fleas, ticks and any known illness; wormed; tested and treated for heartworms, if necessary, plus heartworm preventative for dogs and puppies; and micro-chipped with a lifetime registration. Each has a collar and tag with an Operation Kindness ID and is eligible for a month of free health insurance.
