Concert for Kindness to be held March 11

Who:

Artists for Animals and Operation Kindness

Artists for Animals – Dallas-based nonprofit that brings artists, musicians, writers and animal lovers together to support North Texas animal rescue charities

Operation Kindness – North Texas’ original and largest no-kill animal shelter

 

What:

Artists for Animals’ largest event, now in its seventh year, Concert for Kindness is a multimedia performance with 45 Dallas-Fort Worth area artists. The event features classical music and jazz from some of the area’s finest musicians along with dance, stunning photography and art starring Operation Kindness’ cats and dogs – all available for purchase. The event includes a silent auction featuring rescue animal artwork, gift baskets, and drawings and paintings from the advanced life drawing students at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Cocktails, catered hors d’oeuvres and desserts are served. WFAA/Channel 8 meteorologist Colleen Coyle will serve as master of ceremonies.
