Hotel Dax is inviting guests and locals to celebrate Independence Day weekend with a day of festivities at Bar Dax.

On Friday, July 3, Hotel Dax will serve as headquarters for the holiday weekend with a watch party for one of the summers biggest international soccer matches at Waterloom Pool Lounge. Guests can catch all the action on three large-screen TVs while enjoying a live DJ set from noon to 3 p.m.

The celebration continues in the evening with live music at Bar Dax from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., before guests head to Kaboom Town in Addison Circle Park. Visitors looking to stay close to the action can take advantage of Hotel Daxs Kaboom Town package and simply take the elevator home after the fireworks.

One of the nations most impressive and unique Independence Day celebrations is held in the 4.4 square-mile North Texas town of Addison. On July 3, more than a half-million guests from across the nation come to celebrate Addison Kaboom Town!^® - a celebration that has been named among the top fireworks shows in the country, lauded by hundreds of organizations, including USAToday, Travel+Leisure, Conde Nast, the American Pyrotechnics Association and more.

The main party happens at Addison Circle Park from 5 to 11 p.m., where the entire night reverberates with live music. Performances include US Air Force Band of the West (5 p.m.), Poo Live Crew Cover Band (6:30 p.m.), Presentation of Colors and The National Anthem (8 p.m.), and Emerald City All Stars (8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.).

Spirited guests will also enjoy a fireworks show, an airshow with historic warbirds, a silent disco, a local vendor market, life-size lawn games, balloon artists, face painters and more.

This summer, the Smithsonian-affiliated Frontiers of Flight Museum will debut a global-first exhibition that takes a new look at the Hindenburg, focusing on its status as a luxurious passenger experience and the lasting impact of its design and innovation.

Hindenburg: The Flying Hotel explores the history, pop culture, luxury and engineering marvel of one of the most iconic airships of the 20th century. The immersive exhibition will be on display July 2026 through June 2027 and features:

90 rare artifacts and firsthand historical materials, including China, letters and objects rarely seen by the public
A fully immersive four-part experience exploring Origins and Engineering, Life Abroad and the Flying Hotel, The Final Flight and Legacy and Myth

Hotel Dax is inviting guests and locals to celebrate Independence Day with a day of festivities at Waterloom Pool Lounge.

On Saturday, July 4, Waterloom will host an all-day Independence Day poolside party celebrating Americas 250^th birthday. Guests are invited to raise a glass to 250 years of history with a poolside hot dog cookout, live DJs, patriotic drink specials and a festive atmosphere that carries from day into night.

The Saturday festivities begin at noon with a poolside hot dog cookout a Fourth of July classic done the Waterloom way. Dallas-based DJ Tyler Dean, will set the tone for the celebration with his polished, open-format sound, mixing todays hits with timeless favorites until 3 p.m. As the sun sets, the spirited celebration continues with sparklers and an evening DJ set from 8 to 11 p.m. by DJ XC, known for high-energy crowd-focused mixes. Throughout the day and night, Waterloom will offer themed menu specials, including $2.50 well drinks and draft beers (a nod to 250 years).

SPARK! Dallas presents SPARK! City, a first-of-its-kind immersive public art exhibition celebrating Dallas neighborhoods from June 5 through August 30, 2026..

Designed for both Dallas residents and visitors attending this summers international soccer festivities, SPARK! City transforms the venue into a journey through Downtown/Uptown, Deep Ellum, Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts, Vickery Meadow and The Cedars. Each neighborhood is brought to life through original artwork and immersive installations created by students from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Emmett J. Conrad High School, and Dallas artist Erika Bauer.

Guests can explore the history, culture and creative spirit of each neighborhood while also enjoying SPARK!s popular play sculpture areas and Creative Corner. The exhibit is open Saturdays from 10 a.m.3 p.m., Sundays from 15 p.m., and select weekdays from 15 p.m. during FIFA Family Days.

Admission to SPARK! Plague Mask Players back with the amazing AT&T Performing Arts Centers Elevator Project to present 'Alice' a variation on Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland', by playwright, Ara Vito, and directed by Samantha Calatozzo Cobb. This production will be the Texas premiere of this exciting new work, and Plague Mask Players is thrilled to be the first to bring it to life for DFW audiences.
