Galleria Dallas is committed to sharing and celebrating the local arts community with its shoppers. For its next Artist Collective exhibit, the center will showcase paintings by Dallas-based artist Charlotte (Charlie) Jo Tanner, the founder and artist behind Charlie Jo Designs + Fine Art.

Best known for her signature mixed-media Lily Pad Series and expressive abstract botanicals, Tanner creates original paintings that celebrate the quiet beauty of the natural world. Working with layered acrylics, oil pastels and rich textures, she draws inspiration from gardens, landscapes and light, creating timeless works that bring warmth, depth and a sense of place to collected homes.

The free art exhibit at Galleria Dallas can be viewed on Level 1 in the Art Window located between Gucci and The Westin Galleria Dallas from Aug. 7 through Sept. 5.

Champions Social Club, a premier private social club located in North Dallas, will participate in the highly anticipated DFW Restaurant Week, offering a selection of prix fixe menus that showcase the clubs globally inspired cuisine.

From Aug. 6 through Sept. 7, Champions Social Club will feature a two-course lunch for $29, a three-course dinner for $59 and a signature chefs table experience with Executive Chef Connie Trujillo for $99. Twenty percent of the proceeds will benefit DFW Restaurant Weeks charitable partner, the North Texas Food Bank.

For a limited time, Champions Social Club is offering complimentary one-year social memberships. Filled with sharp humor, heartfelt moments and eccentric small-town characters, the world premiere production is written by Dallas playwrights Patty Pell and Laurie Grigsby and directed by acclaimed playwright and filmmaker Del Shores. Presented by Clark, Pell & King Productions.

Plague Mask Players back with the amazing AT&T Performing Arts Centers Elevator Project to present 'Alice' a variation on Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland', by playwright, Ara Vito, and directed by Samantha Calatozzo Cobb. This production will be the Texas premiere of this exciting new work, and Plague Mask Players is thrilled to be the first to bring it to life for DFW audiences. The play received second place for the Harold and Mimi Steinberg National Student Playwriting Award through the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF).
