The DIS Summer Enrichment Camp is a 6-week program that will be offered from June 13 to July 22

Our camps are open to all and designed to provide campers with the opportunity to explore a wide range of activities in a safe and caring environment.

Campers may enroll in a full day or a half day program for any combination of activities they choose. The activities offered include cooking, music, sports, dance, art, math, drama and languages.

Grant Halliburton Foundation and Center for BrainHealth, part of The University of Texas at Dallas, are partnering to present Journey: The Art and Legacy of Grant Halliburton, an exhibition on view Sept. 825 at the Center for BrainHealth. Journey will feature more than 50 of Grants original paintings, charcoal works, drawings and sketches, along with selections from his personal writings and poetry and a Listening Lounge featuring music he wrote and recorded with his high school bandmates. The exhibition will span three floors of the Center for BrainHealths Brain Performance Institute building. A preview on the first floor will welcome visitors and introduce the exhibition, with most of the collection and accompanying elements displayed on the second and third floors.

The exhibition will be open to the public Sept. 8th through 25th on Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. Appointments are available on other weekdays by calling Center for BrainHealth at 972-883-3400. For the first time ever, Texas Womans University will host the 2026 NorTex College Fair on Tuesday, September 8, from 6:308:30 p.m. on its Denton campus in the Student Union at Hubbard Hall. The free event is open to students, parents and anyone interested in meeting representatives from more than 90 colleges, universities and trade schools in one location. In addition to meeting admissions representatives, attendees can participate in a financial aid breakout session, learn about TWUs Distinguished Scholar Programs offering scholarships ranging from $6,000 annually to the full cost of attendance, and receive hands-on admissions application assistance.
