Wednesday, February 5, DIS 4th grade (CM1) students took a glimpse into the future and visited our Waterview campus to see what life will be like next year as a 5th grade (CM2) student. Students arrived to a special welcome by Tom the Tigre and a select group of Waterview upper classmen and faculty. Upon getting acclimated to the campus, students were inducted into the houses that they will be a part of next year (earth, fire, air and water). Students then spent their day shadowing CM2 students, touring the different departments at Waterview, meeting their future teachers, and having a question and answer session with CM2 students to find out what to look forward to most next year. To let off some steam, students then took it outside to the CM2 recess area to play some games and stretch their legs, and followed that up with a special lunch in the MPR. CM1 definitely enjoyed their Waterview visit and have so much to be excited about for next year as they transition into their new enviroment.
