This weekend, the public will have an opportunity to check out artwork and the studios of some North Dallas artists. 

The North Dallas Artist Studio Tour will showcase 28 artists and 17 studios from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday in and around Preston Hollow.

"The 2012 North Dallas Artist Studio Tour highlights the work of accomplished artists in the intimate, revealing setting of their working studios," according to the event's website.

The artwork that will be featured includes paintings, sculptures, photographs, jewelry, pottery, collages and more. The event is free to attend and open to the public. Click here for a map of the tour.
