Last December, a 48,000-square-foot Spec's Wines, Spirits and Finer Foods store opened in Dallas at Walnut Hill and North Central Expressway at the former location of Toys R Us, and now a new location of the chain is scheduled to open in Preston Hollow in the next several months.

In case you have not heard, Specs has planned to open a new store over the summer at the corner of Preston Road and Royal Lane in the old location of Blockbuster.

The new store will be nearly 10,000 square feet and will reportedly only sell beer, wine and some specialty food items.

The Houston-based chain has locations throughout Texas in cities, such as Austin, Corpus Christi and El Paso.
