Smart: Our Redeemer Lutheran is a nationally accredited, private Christian school located just across from NorthPark Center at 7611 Park Lane. Our small class sizes and individualized attention is reflected in the outstanding national test scores: ORLS students historically achieve an average of 2.5 years above grade level. Our Preschool, for ages 2 - 4, is play based with a mix of child led and teacher guided activities. Flexible days and hours, spacious facilities, arts enrichment and small classes led by loving, degreed teachers are hallmarks of this program. In Elementary grades, level appropriate Math placement, Accelerated Reader and Phonics challenge and enhance our students' academic strengths as the cornerstones of lifelong learning. Fine Arts, Science, Social studies, the annual Academic fair and Outdoor Education are an integral part of each child’s learning.
Well Rounded: Additionally, Our Redeemer's co-curricular enrichments include strong Spanish, Latin, Technology, Chapel, Interscholastic Athletics and Art and Music programs (including choir, musicals, bells, and band opportunities) which many schools, unfortunately, have had to cut. Before and after care options are also provided for potty-trained preschoolers through 6th graders. With excellent parental involvement in areas from the annual Auction to our outstanding garden for all ages, our children thrive in a diverse community of love and support. Global and local outreach and service projects prepare children for a lifetime of giving and helping others.
Green: A wonderful learning garden, dedicated playgrounds for both Preschool and Elementary students, soccer field and plenty of free greenspace to accommodate both PE and recess periods that each child has on a daily basis--plus a regulation sized gym!
