Spraying Area No. 1

The ongoing battle against West Nile virus in Dallas is continuing this weekend.

Two portions of North Dallas will be sprayed for mosquitoes, beginning at 10 p.m. Friday and ending at 3 a.m. Saturday.

Area No. 1

One of the North Dallas areas that will be sprayed for mosquitoes has the boundaries of LBJ Freeway to the north, Dart Rail to the west, Royal Lane to the south and Marsh Lane to the east.

Area No. 2

The other portion of North Dallas that will be sprayed is bound by LBJ Freeway to the north, Rosser Road to the west, Forest Lane to the south, and Inwood Road and Dallas North Tollway to the east.

As of Wednesday, there have been nine West Nile-related deaths and 162 reported human cases in Dallas County this season.
