The countdown has begun for the organizers of FAN EXPO Dallas to pull off another monumental event as FAN EXPO Dallas has announced the first round of celebrity guests. The star-studded lineup includes Johnny Yong Bosch (‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’, ‘Trigun’), Adam Savage (‘MythBusters,’ ‘Unchained Reaction’) Keith David (‘The Thing’, ‘Community’, ‘Rik & Morty’), William Shatner (‘Star Trek’, ‘Boston Legal’), Lana Parilla (‘Once Upon a Time’, ‘Spin City’) Jason Priestley (‘Beverly Hills 90210’, ‘Call Me Fitz’), Joonas Suotamo (‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’), Ben Mackenzie (‘Gotham,’ ‘The O.C.’) and Sofia Boutella (‘Rebel Moon,’ ‘The Mummy’).

Tickets are on sale now for the spectacular three-day event that runs from June 7-9, 2024, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Downtown Dallas.

On camera, Johnny Yong Bosch is recognized as Adam Park, the second Black Power Ranger, and later, the Green Zeo Ranger and first Green Turbo Ranger in the Power Rangers franchise, which led to roles in some martial arts television and feature films. Bosch made his voice acting debut as the main character Vash the Stampede from ‘Trigun’ and is also known for the lead role of Ichigo Kurosaki in the hit shonen anime ‘Bleach’.
Adam Savage, best known for his work as the co-host of the Discovery Channel series ‘MythBusters’ and ‘Unchained Reaction,’ has made his mark in the entertainment world as a special effects designer and fabricator, actor, educator, television personality, and producer. His special effects work on such films as ‘Space Cowboys,’ ‘Galaxy Quest,’ ‘Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace,’ ‘Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones’ and ‘The Matrix Reloaded’ earned him acclaim that led to his appearance on ‘MythBusters.’
Keith David is known for his deep voice and screen presence in over 300 roles across film, stage, television, and interactive media. He is perhaps most known for his live-action roles in such films as ‘Crash’, ‘There's Something About Mary’, ‘Barbershop’ and ‘Men at Work’. He has also had memorable roles in numerous cult favorites, including John Carpenter's films ‘The Thing’ (as Childs) and ‘They Live’ (as Armitage), the Riddick films ‘Pitch Black ‘and ‘The Chronicles of Riddick’ (as the Imam), the General in ‘Armageddon’, King in Oliver Stone's ‘Platoon’, and Big Tim in Darren Aronofsky's ‘Requiem for a Dream’. David is also well known for his voice-over career, primarily his Emmy-winning work as the narrator of numerous Ken Burns films. He has won 3 Emmys out of 6 nominations as well as being nominated for a Tony award.
In a career spanning seven decades, William Shatner has displayed heady comedic talent and been instantly recognizable to several generations of cult television fans. He is best known for his portrayal of James T. Kirk in the Star Trek franchise, from his 1966 debut as the captain of the starship Enterprise in the second pilot of the first Star Trek television series to his final appearance as Captain Kirk in the seventh Star Trek feature film, ‘Star Trek Generations’. He has more recently been starring in the David E. Kelley television series ‘The Practice’ and its spin-off ‘Boston Legal’.
Lana Parrilla, best known as The Evil Queen / Regina Mills in the ABC fantasy drama series ‘Once Upon a Time’, was a regular cast member in the fifth season of the ABC sitcom ‘Spin City’ and in the fourth season of ‘24’, and starred in ‘Boomtown’, ‘Windfall’, ‘Swingtown’, and as Dr. Eva Zambrano in the short-lived medical drama ‘Miami Medical’. Among her awards and nominations is a 2012 ALMA Award win for Outstanding TV Actress - Drama. In 2021, she played the role of Rita Castillo in the second season of ‘Why Women Kill’.
Jason Priestley is best known as the virtuous Brandon Walsh on the television series Beverly Hills, 90210. He is also known for his roles as Richard "Fitz" Fitzpatrick in the show Call Me Fitz and for his role as Matt Shade in the Canadian series Private Eyes. In August 2016, Priestley was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame.
Joonas Suotamo is a Finnish actor and former professional basketball player. He is best known for his role as Chewbacca in the Star Wars saga, taking over the role from Peter Mayhew, first as a body double, with ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, and later as the lead in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ and in ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’.
Ben McKenzie, who portrayed the lead character James Gordon in the hit Fox TV show ‘Gotham,’ has also appeared in theater productions and such television shows as ‘The District,’ ‘JAG’ and ‘Mad TV.’ He garnered widespread acclaim with the success of ‘The O.C’. His film roles have included ‘Junebug’ opposite Amy Adams and ‘88 Minutes’ with Al Pacino.
Sofia Boutella played the lead character in last year’s Netflix action-adventure feature ‘Rebel Moon: Part One: A Child of Fire,’ a follow-up to her role in ‘Rogue Heroes’ a year earlier. She also co-starred opposite Tom Cruise in the fantasy-adventure film ‘The Mummy’ in 2017 and was also top-billed in the science fiction drama ‘Settlers and Prisoners of the Ghostland’ alongside Nicolas Cage and Nick Cassavetes in 2001 and the horror film ‘Climax’ in 2018.
